• Man charged for allegedly stealing from Hingham senior living complex (boston.com) — Hingham residents at Linden Ponds should know a Marshfield man has been charged after police say he entered unlocked apartments, allegedly stole a resident’s credit card, and posed as a junk removal worker and rideshare driver. He pleaded not guilty in Hingham District Court, is being held on $10,000 bail, and is due back Jan. 13 as police continue investigating and seek tips. 
• It's Kraken Holiday Gift Time (nhl.com) — One Kraken player’s holiday wish list comes with a fun local twist: center Matty Beniers once helped his Broadway-trained mom teach children’s drama workshops in their hometown of Hingham. The story imagines playful, personalized gifts for several Seattle Kraken players, from Batman gear to a wheel of Parmesan, while highlighting Beniers’ early acting experience and potential TV cameo dreams.
