Gina LaRocco was a passionate and beloved Hingham hairdresser who died in a car accident in 2009 at the age of 23. A book sale on August 10, will help raise money for the a Scholarship Fund dedicated in her name. LoRocco, was a 2004 Weymouth High School graduate. She worked at Joanna's House of Beauty in Hingham and then at Supercuts in Hanover. The scholarship, which was set up three years ago, helps young women start their career in cosmetology. Books are currently being collected for the sale. Anyone with donations can drop them off at 37 Center Street, Weymouth.
