Derby Street Shoppes Announce New Stores

Adding versatility to the South Shore’s leading lifestyle destination, Derby Street Shoppes will welcome two dynamic brands in early 2017. The Shade Store will make their South Shore debut, while TONI&GUY will open its first salon in Massachusetts, complementing its two Hairdressing Academies in the state. In addition to these permanent retailers, locally owned and loved surf brand Levitate will return with a holiday pop-up from December 1, 2016 to January 7, 2017.

Levitate: December 1, 2016 to January 7, 2017

Levitate, a Marshfield-based surf brand known and loved for placing community at the forefront of its business model, will return to Derby Street with a holiday pop-up. The brand previously popped up at Derby Street over the summer with great success. Owned by husband and wife Daniel and Jessica Hassett, the company will offer a range of gifts, including its best-selling button-down Made in America heavyweight flannels, designed for New England winters.

Levitate’s holiday pop-up is located next to b.good at Derby Street.

The Shade Store: Opening December, 2016

The Shade Store specializes in premium custom window treatments and has a rich heritage in luxury textiles and interior design. The family-run company offers an unmatched selection of over 900 window treatment materials for Roller Shades, Solar Shades, Roman Shades, and Drapery, all handcrafted in the United States.

At just over 1,250 square feet, the showroom at Derby Street Shoppes will provide a seamless experience for both consumers and design professionals. It will feature fully interactive design displays and expert design consultants to assist in every step of the process. Customers can choose free swatches from an exclusive collection to plan for their custom window treatments.

The Shade Store has 40 showrooms, located in 17 states. The showroom at Derby Street Shoppes is the first on the South Shore and the fourth in Massachusetts.

TONI&GUY: Opening January, 2017

TONI&GUY, a British-based global leader in the cosmetology industry, will open its first Massachusetts salon at Derby Street Shoppes. The opening adds to the property’s leading beauty offerings such as Bluemercury and MiniLuxe.

The brand blends British precision with Italian flair and delivers creativity, quality and consistency to every client. At TONI&GUY salons, hairstylists participate in regular continued education in cut and color, taking pride in staying on top of current trends. TONI&GUY operates 40 salons in 10 states.

TONI&GUY at Derby Street Shoppes will be located next to Kate Spade.
