HINGHAM, MA — A 53-year-old man is facing a reckless homicide charge after driving into a Hingham Apple Store Monday, killing one person and injuring 19 other shoppers.

Bradley Rein, 53, was arrested at his home in Hingham Monday night, Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said early Tuesday morning. Rein told investigators his right foot got stuck on the gas pedal, and tests showed he was not intoxicated at the time of the crash, according to reports.

Rein pleaded not guilty to the reckless homicide charge, as well as reckless operation of a vehicle. He was granted $100,000 bail on the conditions that he neither drive nor leave the state without permission.
