Hingham officials say a letter from the US Department of the Interior alleging mishandling of Bare Cove Park has been addressed and the problems were mainly the result of misunderstandings. <a href="http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/hingham/2014/01/hinghams_bare_cove_park_problems_clarified_rectified_with_fe.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Boston Globe reported</a> Tuesday that the issue is related to "a piece of parkland known as 'dagger parcel,' which was purchased by developer Thomas Hastings for the Back River condominium development.
