Fire Department Reviews Assets, Hingham Master Plan Workshop
5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Hingham on Nov. 13, 2013.

1. The Fire Department Assets Review Committee meets at 7 p.m. at the Central Fire Station.
The committee will continue discussions on:
- Assessment of the current condition of the fire station at 230 North Street (Station 2) and the fire station at 847 Main Street (Station 3).
- Review of incident data
- Town Master Plan and expected growth
- The amount and type of apparatus needed
- A replacement program for fire apparatus
- Number of fire stations or other facilities needed and general locations
- Possible need for land acquisition
- Staffing needs
The meeting, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 13, is "to discuss development trends in Hingham and those trends’ impact on future growth and development in town," according to a notice on the town website.
