Former Patriots and Red Sox Hit the Hardwood in Hingham

Past Boston sports stars took on Hingham residents in basketball on Sunday afternoon in the annual charity game.

The stars turned out in force to the Hingham High School gymnasium on Sunday, April 7, for the annual Hingham Police Associations Sox/Pats Hoop Challenge.

Members of the Police Department, including Police Chief Michael Peraino, teamed up with local teachers and students to play a group of New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox alumni to benefit the Hingham Police Drug Awareness Program.

The athlete team featured former Red Sox players, Bill “The Spaceman” Lee and pitcher Jim Corsi and former New England Patriots Jermaine Wiggins, Patrick Pass, Vernon Crawford, Garin Veras and Derwin Williams.
