Green Hingham Transfer Station Stickers Now Expired

New residents can get a temporary permit while they change their registration address.

The Town of Hingham has notified residents that all green transfer station stickers are expired:

Permits (Stickers) expire in the month which corresponds with the last number (not letter) on your license plate, per the following schedule:

1 – January 2013
2 – February 2013
3 – March 2013
4 – April 2013
5 – May 2013   
6 – June 2013
7 – July 2013
8 – August 2013
9 – September 2013
0 – October 2013
Vanity Plates (All Letters) – November 2013
Commercial/Part Time – December 2013

FOR EXAMPLE:
82C GRG would be due in February 2013
841 DP6 would be due in June 2013
250 GLB would be due in October 2013

TO OBTAIN A TRANSFER STATION STICKER/PERMIT:

Please bring to the DPW OFFICE at 25 Bare Cove Park Drive:

  • Vehicle you want the sticker on
  • Current Vehicle Registration (registered in Hingham).  
  • If Leased Vehicle please provide Coverage Selection Page of Car Insurance Policy to prove car is garaged in Hingham.  
  • If new resident please see below.
  • Driver’s License
  • Transfer  Station Permit Application (available online or at the DPW Office)
  • One free permit/sticker per household.  $25.00 charge for additional stickers (cash or check only).
