Erickson Living Names Jim Centola Associate Executive Director of Linden Ponds
Erickson Living has named Jim Centola as the new Associate Executive Director of Linden Ponds. Prior to this position he was the Administrator of Extended Care at Linden Ponds since 2011.
Centola has over 15 years of experience in continuing care retirement communities, health and management. Prior to Linden Ponds he was Director of Operations at Quality Rehabilitation Services in Plainville. Prior to Quality Rehabilitation Services, he worked for Masonic Health System for 10 years at their Overlook Continuing Care Retirement campus. At Overlook he was Director of Rehabilitation Services and was then promoted to Vice-President of Health Services and Administrator of the company’s 181-bed skilled nursing facility.

Centola has also served as a physical therapist for Physical Therapy Plus in Brockton, and was also co-owner of Huntington Rehabilitation of Fall River.

Centola, of Medway, received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy cum laude from Northeastern University in Boston and a Master of Business Administration degree from Assumption College in Worcester.
South Shore Conservatory Joins National #GivingTuesday Movement
South Shore Conservatory (SSC) has joined #GivingTuesday, a movement to transform how people participate in the giving season. The Wallace M. Leonard Foundation has announced that they will match the first $10,000 in online donations made to SSC on #GivingTuesday.
Coinciding with the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday invites donors to take action by giving back to the charities and causes they support. #GivingTuesday 2013, which takes place December 3, following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, focuses national attention on a day dedicated to philanthropic giving.
