Hingham Holding Affordable Housing Lottery for Beal Street Condos
Hingham's Affordable Housing Trust purchased the three-acre site for $400,000 in 2009.

Hingham will hold an Affordable Housing Lottery for two of the units in a development on Beal Street that is expected to be completed and sold by next spring.
Craftsman Village, at 80 Beal St., will have a total of eight units, each featuring three bedrooms, two full baths, two car garage and approximately 1,400 square feet of living space, according to a notice on the town website.
Two of the detached condominiums will be offered in the lottery for first-time home buyers at a sale price of $185,000.
A Public Information Meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in at Hingham Town Hall, 210 Central Street, to answer specific questions and provide an overview of the process.
The application deadline is Feb. 7, 2014. All applications must be postmarked on or before Feb. 7 to be included in the lottery. The lottery will be held Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Hingham Town Hall.
