Hingham Hosts Talk on Stereotypes at Old Ship Parish

5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Hingham on Oct. 11, 2013.

1. The Social Justice committee of Old Ship Church hosts a discussion of Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Old Ship Parish House Friday evening.

2. The Hingham Public Library Board of Trustees - Human Resources Subcommittee meets at 9 a.m. at the library in a closed session to discuss collective bargaining. 

3. Saturday, Oct. 12 is day of the Homecoming Dance at Hingham High School. Share your photos and videos in our Town Square discussion section

4.  Add your information to our open blog for Hingham High School News. Share information on extracurriculars, study groups, fundraisers and whatever else the community should know.

5. Friday is a day for layering. There is a 40 percent chance of rain before 1 p.m., and an expected high of 63 degrees with cloudy skies and winds around 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight should be mostly cloudy with a low around 52.
