UPDATE Tuesday 8 p.m.: Hingham police report on Twitter that they have located the dog's owner and that it is back home in Weymouth. *****     *****     ***** Hingham police are looking for the owner of a dog found running in traffic on Route 3A near the Weymouth/Hingham line. The dog – described by police <a href="https://www.facebook.com/hinghampolice?fref=ts" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">on their Facebook page</a> as a friendly lab or retriever – was spotted near the Back River Bridge by a motorist who stopped and let the dog jump into his car. He then brought the dog to the police station, where it was held waiting for the Animal Control Officer. Contact ACO Leslie Badger at 781-741-1490.
