Hingham Residents Deliver Afghans to South Shore Homeless
Linden Ponds, on a scenic 108-acre campus in Hingham, is one of 16 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living.

Deb Graham, who lives at Linden Ponds in Hingham, recently delivered 10 afghans to the Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore.
All the afghans were made by people who live at Linden Ponds. She also dropped off six wool caps.
"This was a group effort," Graham said. "All of the squares were knit by people who live at Linden Ponds and then Estelle Katz and Anne O'Malley, Linden Ponds residents, put all 10 afghans together. Some people call us Linden Ponds Elves. We just like knowing we are helping others."
