Hingham Resident Receives Women's Health Champion Award

Women for Whittier was formed four years ago by a group of prominent and socially committed women from the Greater Boston community.

Sonja Kelly, Managing Director of the Kelly Family Foundation and Chair of the Whittier Health & Wellness Foundation Board, received the Women’s Health Champion Award presented by Frederica Williams, President and CEO of Whittier Street Health Center. 

Kelly received the award in recognition of her leadership and positive contributions to the economic, social, physical and mental health of women, children and families. Deborah Kelly, Kelly’s mother was in attendance. 

The Women’s Health Champion Award is presented annually during the Women for Whittier Tea held at Whittier Street Health Center, 1290 Tremont Street, Roxbury, MA.

Women for Whittier was formed four years ago by a group of prominent and socially committed women from the Greater Boston community. This group is dedicated to fostering solutions to some of the most pressing issues and health needs ofunderserved women and children in Boston.
