Hingham Resident Running First Marathon

A Hingham resident and register nurse will be running the 2013 Boston Marathon as a member of Team Red Cross.

Jessica Jones will be raising money for the American Red Cross as she takes on a marathon for the first time. Jones, who lives in Hingham with her husband Greg, is a registered nurse at Quincy Medical Center.

Jones is a Hull native and a graduate of Quincy College and UMass Boston. She is also an experienced blood donor and became a certified nursing assistant from the American Red Cross.

“It is amazing the amount of work that the American Red Cross does for those in times ofneed, and I am honored to be part of a team that will raise much needed funds for such a great organization,” she said.
