Hingham Residents Should Expect Reverse 911 Call on Fatal Accident
Police found debris at the scene of a fatal hit and run in Middleboro last week.

The Hingham Police Department reported Wednesday afternoon that residents should be aware of a call coming tonight about an accident in Middleborough last week.
"The District Attorney’s Office will be sending out a reverse 911 message tonight seeking info on the fatal hit & run crash in Middleborough," the department said on Twitter.
According to CBS Local:
"Family members say Michael Dutra was riding his bicycle Friday when he was struck and killed on Wood Road just a few miles from his home. The driver who hit him did not stop.
"Massachusetts State Police say debris found at the scene appears to belong to a 2005 to 2009 light colored Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle involved in the crash likely has a missing or broken right front marker lens, shattered right headlight lens and right front bumper damage."
