Local Hingham residents joined more than 2,000 people who participated in the 21st Annual Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure last weekend. The event, which took place in South Boston on Sunday, Sept. 29, was presented by the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.  The Race kicked off Komen MA's October activities for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 5K fitness walk/run is dedicated to raising dollars to support local breast health programs that cover education, prevention, screening, and treatment while also funding the most promising research on a national level.   Team Jess was represented by Hingham residents Katie Fischer, Stephanie Murray, Dana Hanseth, Nicole Cox and Maura Harold.
