MA State Police Search For Hanson Driver Who Seriously Injured Biker
A 40-year-old man is in serious condition after police say he was hit by a car that took off while he was riding a bike down Route 14.

HANSON, MA — State police are searching for the driver who seriously injured a man riding a bike in a hit-and-run crash in Hanson Thursday night.
Police are looking for a white SUV that they believe hit a 40-year-old man riding a bicycle on Route 14 around 5:50 p.m. The man was med flighted to a hospital with serious injuries.
Hanson police believe the driver knew they hit someone and still drove away. They added that the SUV most likely has front-end and passenger side damage.

"Judging from some of the information we have gotten from people in the area, we believe that they would have known they've hit something," Hanson Police Chief Michael Miksch said. "Not necessarily a person, but they definitely would have known they struck something."
According to police, the SUV was captured on a digital home camera just prior to the crash, heading east on Route 14 toward Pembroke.
