"The Quincy based organization, Massachusetts Survivors Outreach, will be sponsoring this event in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. "Many survivors of abuse leave an abusive situation but struggle with the actual healing part. This lecture will address those challenges and discuss alternatives and holistic healing methods that are complimentary to traditional help.  "We will help answer the following questions: ~ What is holistic healing and a holistic concept ~ What are the types of healing modalities available ~ And how holistic healing can help victims of abuse."The library also hosts Preschool Story Time from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Story Telling Room and Stories &amp; Snacks from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the same location.
