Mothers' Club Party Tuesday to Benefit Homeless Families
The Mothers' Club was founded in 1940 with the mission to promote civic and community welfare and sociability.

The Hingham Mothers' Club will celebrate the holidays with more than 40 homeless children and their families Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 6p .m. to 8 p.m.
The annual Interfaith Holiday Party takes place at Old Ship Church Parish House, hosting families from shelters and hotels in Norwell, Weymouth, and Brockton and across the South Shore.
HMC volunteers will be providing holiday crafts for the children, photos with and a gift from Santa, and a tin of cookies & treats for each family to bring home.

Families arrive to a warmly decorated hall and are greeted by HMC members who welcome them in and help children to participate in crafts, games, holiday books, music and dancing.

Dinner, which is provided annually by the Crowley family, is also served.
This is a special opportunity to help host an event and share in the holiday spirit with families that don’t have a place to call home right now.
Many volunteers come out to set up, donate crafts and activities, or bake cookies placed in festive tins that the children take back with them to their shelters.
The highlight of the evening is pictures with Santa! The children take their keepsake pictures home in frames they built themselves at a craft station!
