Person Found Dead On Shoreline In Bare Grove Park In Hingham
There is no sign of foul play and there is no danger to the public, according to the Hingham Police Department.
HINGHAM, MA — Police are investigating after a person was found dead in Bare Cove Park along the Back River Saturday afternoon, according to the Hingham Police Department.
Officers said they responded to a call at 2:43 p.m. from a passerby who said they spotted a person dead on the ground along the shoreline.
There is no sign of foul play and there is no danger to the public, according to the Hingham Police Department.

The park was closed during the beginning stages of the investigation but has since reopened, police said.

Bare Cove Park consists of 484 acres located along the banks of the Weymouth Back River in Hingham, according to the town's website. A wildlife sanctuary and place for public recreation, the park consists of river shoreline, wetland, open fields, and dense woods.
