Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 At 1:05 p.m. there was a motor vehicle accident at French Street and High Street. It was a hit and run but no description of the offending vehicle was provided. No injuries. At 1:53 p.m. police picked up Anthony Beare, 32 of Dorchester, on Foundry Pond Road on a warrant out of Quincy for burning a motor vehicle. At 8:20 p.m., a caller reported that they hit a deer with their vehicle at 424 Cushing St., near Route 53. Then, at 8:45 p.m., a woman at 127 Lazell St. told police that there were two deer trapped in her backyard and that her dog attacked one of them. The dog ended up bloody and was taken to the vet.
