Police Log: Drug Arrest, Baby Owl Injury

Friday, Jan. 10, 2014
Police responded at 8:31 a.m. to a two-car accident at 100 Industrial Park Road. One caller reported a cut on their finger.
Rebecca Johnson, 25 of Carver, was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery during a motor vehicle stop at 204 Whiting St.
Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014
A caller told police at 12:02 a.m. that they saw a deer stuck in the Weir River at the intersection of Route 3A and East Street. The environmental police were called in and reported that the deer had died.
Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014
Police responded at 9:55 a.m. to a two-car accident at 112 Ward St. in which both vehicles' airbags deployed. A caller also reported that one of the cars hit two to three trees in their yard.
A hypodermic needle was found at 3:48 p.m. at the corner of Hull Street and Pine Street, on the ground 50 feet from a nursery school sign.
Timothy Callahan, 25 of Hull, was arrested at 20 Broad Cove Rd. at 8:34 p.m. and charged with possession with intent to distribute class B and D substances.
A baby owl was struck by a vehicle at 10:41 p.m. at the DPW garage and injured. the Animal Control Officer responded and brought the owl to the wildlife center.
