Police Log: Sick Coyote, Trapped Raccoon and Large Apple Store Crowds

At 11:06 a.m., Hingham police arrested Jermont Murray, 31 of Providence, outside Hingham District Court for violating an abuse prevention order.
A sick coyote was reported in the road at Free Street and Main Street at 2:58 p.m. The caller said their 15 and 17 year old sons said the coyote looked aggressive, but the responding Animal Control Officer could not locate the animal.

Police responded to a report of people outside the Apple Store at Derby Street Shoppes at 12:47 a.m. They were waiting for the new iPhone.
Later, at 9:19 a.m., a security officer flagged down a police officer about a large crowd in front of the Apple Store. That crowd was dispersed and police noted that patrols are needed there morning, noon and night for daily crowds.
At 1:06 p.m., the Hingham Nursery School on Main Street reported a raccoon trapped in a trash barrel near the playground. The Animal Control Officer responded.
Police arrested Eric Booth, 28 of Quincy, at 8:49 p.m. at the Bathing Beach for operating with a suspended license and having an unregistered motor vehicle.
