Police Log: Snow Storm Accidents and a Squirrel Removal Problem

At 9:58 a.m., a caller at 166 North St. told police that there was a squirrel, dead, stuck in the fireplace behind a screen. The dispatcher tracked down Hingham's Animal Control Officer, who disposed of the situation.

At 4:21 p.m. there was a two-car accident at Bright Horizons Day Care at the Hingham Shipyard. No injuries, both vehicles towed.

At 5:40 p.m. a Mazda mini van collided with a snow bank in front of the Hingham Public Library. No reported injuries.

At 9:21 p.m., a plow rear-ended a car at Tedeschi's on Lincoln Street.
