Lies work includes his best-selling Bats series: "Bats at the Beach," "Bats at the Library" and "Bats at the Ball Game." Other books include "Hamlet and the Enormous Chinese Dragon Kite" and "Hamlet and the Magnificent Sandcastle."
In "More," Lies explores that notion that more is not always better. The story is told through a magpie’s collection of things that turn into clutter. The text of the book was written by I.C. Springman.

Several book readings will take place throughout Greater Boston this summer as part of Dependable Cleaner’s annual Read to Ride summer reading program.
In its 14th year, Read to Ride is designed, to foster the love of reading and provide students aged 6-15 with the tools they need to ensure year-long learning success. Over the past 13 years, children have read more than 59,000 books.
For every book a child reads, the child fills out an entry form and submits it at any Dependable Cleaners store location or with a Dependable Cleaners Home Delivery Driver. Dependable Cleaners will randomly draw one winner and two runner-up prize winners every Monday from June 4 until August 13, (with the exception of July 2). The winner will receive a new bike and the runner ups will win a gift card to a local sporting goods store or activity around town.
Entry forms will be available at Dependable Cleaners 16 locations and with Home Delivery Drivers, as well as at the participating libraries and sporting goods stores throughout the duration of the program.
Read to Ride 2012 is sponsored by Dependable Cleaners in conjunction with Farina’s Bicycle Center, Dave’s Bike Infirmary, Buttonwood Books, Newtonville Books, The Patriot Ledger and Patch.com. A full list of participating organizations, program rules, and a printable entry form will be accessible at www.DependableCleaners.com/read-ride.
