Potholes – the scourge of the sedan, traitor among tires, foe of the frappuccino – multiple in the winter after bouts of snow and cold weather.
According to an informal poll on Facebook, roads are in particularly rough shape at Prospect Street and Fearing Road.
DPW Director Randy Sylvester said that because of the snow and the deep freeze this winter, potholes are popping up all over town.
"We've definitely had a spike in requests for potholes," Sylvester said. "We're out there doing the best we can, depending on the weather."
He said residents with pothole concerns should call the DPW at 781-741-1430. Staff will take their information and check on the pothole, then add it to the DPW's list.
If you are seeing a proliferation of potholes, give the town a call, but then also share your info with us in the comments below.
