ORLEANS, MA — It was a scene that no one wants to experience, but thankfully this shark was no Jaws.Photos taken by a drone operated by Cody DeGroff Sunday show a paddleboarder on Nauset Beach only feet away from a great white shark. The paddleboarder, identified as 54-year-old Roger Freeman of Hingham by <a href="http://www.capecodtimes.com/news/20180730/great-white-shark-shadows-unsuspecting-paddleboarder" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Cape Cod Times</a>, said that he had no idea he was so close to the shark until a person who knew DeGroff showed Freeman a photo of how close he came.It was a "close encounter of a peaceful kind," quipped the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy. <figure class="r-embed"><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en">'Close encounter of a peaceful kind.'
