Social Justice Talk at Old Ship, MCAS Retests

1. The Old Ship Parish House hosts a showing of A Small Act with discussion following from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
"This highly rated 2010 documentary (88 mins.) tells the story of a Swedish teacher’s choice to sponsor a rural Kenyan child’s school costs and how this impacts his life (and hers). Moving portrayal of the ripples coming from her act of generosity and the impact on educational opportunities for current Kenyan students. All are invited to watch the film and discuss it together. 2. Hingham High School students take MCAS English retests Friday and Saturday.
