South Shore Democrats Open Campaign Office in Hingham

The South Shore Democratic Caucus opened its regional campaign office at the Sons of Italy Club in Hingham.

The South Shore Democratic Caucus opened its regional campaign office on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Sons of Italy Club, 88 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Hingham. The office will be open Mondays through Fridays through November 8, 2016 from 10 am to 9 pm for volunteers to make phone calls for local Democratic candidates and for the Clinton-Kaine presidential ticket.

Paul Gannon, a Hingham selectman and Democratic candidate for the Plymouth and Norfolk senate district was on hand for the event, along with Kara Nyman, candidate for the Fifth Plymouth house district, Scott Vecchi, candidate for Plymouth County sheriff and Greg Hanley, candidate for re-election to the Plymouth County Commission.

Ms. Nyman, who won a contested primary on September 8, noted that person to person communication was important in her victory, and would be an important factor for victory in the general election.
