Special Education Council, Dangers of Prescription Drugs
5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Hingham on Nov. 12, 2013.

1. The Special Education Parent Advisory Council meets at 10 a.m. at Hingham Public Library. It starts with an informal social gathering and proceeds into agenda items such as the Director of Student Services' report, PTO and School Committee updates, and Dr. Epstein on a presentation on Collaborate Problem Solving set for Nov. 20th.

2. The library also hosts "HOUSEHOLD HIGHS: THE DANGERS OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND INHALANTS IN THE HOME" from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Whiton Room.
"The presentation takes a good look at the inventive ways that young people are using both prescription drugs as well as household items to get high.

4. Yep, time to bust out your snow shovels, winter hats and gloves. The National Weather Service is predicting snow before noon Tuesday, just in time for the morning commute. Turning to rain and then sun gradually in the afternoon. Tuesday night should be clear with a low around – eek – 22 degrees.
