Talbots Sample Sale for Disaster Relief
Women's retailer Talbots is hosting a sample sale at its Hingham headquarters this Saturday and Sunday to benefit Red Cross Disaster Relief.
The sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at One Talbots Drive, off Route 3A. Use 175 Beal St. as the address if using a GPS.

Presentation on Greater Boston's Suburban Development
Hingham Public Library. 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. Whiton Room.
"James O'Connell will present a free slide talk on Boston's suburban development. The public is welcome to attend.
"Boston's metropolitan landscape has been two hundred years in the making. From its proto-suburban village centers of 1800 to its far-flung, automobile-centric exurbs of today, Boston has been a national pacesetter for suburbanization."

8th Annual Bazaar & Silent Auction
First Baptist Church. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
