Three People Rescued After Fishing Boat Flips Near Scituate

Multiple agencies are responding to reports of a boating incident involving a fishing vessel off the coast of Scituate.

SCITUATE, MA — Three people were rescued off the coast of Scituate Tuesday.

Multiple stations including crews from Station Point Allerton are responding to an overturned fishing vessel near Scituate, the U.S. Coast Guard reported.

All three crew members were rescued and are now being taken to shore by the local Harbor Master to be examined by EMS, the coast guard said just before 4:30 p.m.
