Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11, and Hingham will be host to activities honoring those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Annual Veteran's Day Observance The Hingham Veterans' Council is pleased to announce the itinerary for this year's Annual Veteran's Day Observance, formerly called Armistice Day.  Veterans' Day 2013 will begin with the CPL Lawrence St. Laurent Breakfast at the Hingham Senior Center from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. This event is open to ALL Military, Veterans, and their families; sponsored by the Hingham American Legion and the V.F.W. Posts.   The main event will be the held in the Sanborn Auditorium at Town Hall, beginning promptly at 11 a.m. There will be reserved seating for ALL Military and Veterans. The event will be moderated by Michael Puzo, with music performed by Hingham High School Band. The principal speaker will be Hingham resident, Commander Geoff Gagnier, USCG.   Following the indoor tribute to our Town's Veterans there will be a wreath laying ceremony and Pledge of Allegiance at the Veterans' Memorial outside Town Hall. Various Scouting Units will be in attendance, as will Honor Guards, and Militia.
