HINGHAM, MA — According to an Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CRrIP5CraO4/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">post</a>, White's Bakery in Hingham will close its doors on August 21.The Derby Street shops bakery had been a staple for many in the South Shore for over 20 years.The post says the decision, "was not made lightly or due to the pandemic, but because it is the best course of action for our family at this time."According to their website, White's dates back to 1980 with a bakery in Florida and then opening the first Massachusetts location in Easton in 1987 before moving to Brockton.The Brockton and Mansfield stores will still remain in operation.
