1,500 Without Power in Holliston

Wet, heavy snow, clinging to leaves during a rare October storm, has knocked out power for over 1,500 Holliston residents, a NStar report said. 

While NStar has given predictions for some neighboring towns, the company's website lists Holliston's estimated restoration time as "assessing."

The town's High School is currently powered, according to Holliston Police. 

Cleanup crews told the New York Times this is the "worst tree devastation they had ever seen."
