5 Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 17

Volleyball and knockwurst, yoga and beer. All great things -- just not great combinations. They are all in today's 5 things you need to know.

1. The girls Panthers volleyball team will take on Hopkinton High School today. The game is scheduled for at Holliston High and is free to the public. 

2. Roberta Weiner will be holding a tomorrow at Holliston's Senior Center. The class is aimed at Yoga beginners and admission is $3. 

3. Today is the last day to reserve your spot at the table at Holliston's annual Oktoberfest. The event will stick with the Oktoberfest traditon with knockwurst, polka, and beer. Check out the event's website for all the details.

4. Holliston Parks and Recreation Department will host Crafty Kids, where children ages 2-4 can come by and participate in art projects. Bring your family and $46 to 100 Linden St. at 9:30 a.m. to get the crafts started. 

5. Today's forecast is showing sun early in the day with some showers in the afternoon. Grab your jacket, temperatures are falling fast.
