Allegedly Drunk Man Arrested With Kids In Car

The Hopkinton Police Department responded to the incident on Friday.

At 8:48 p.m. on Firday night, Hopkinton Police Officer Linda Higgins responded to an erratic driver that was observed on Grove Street.

William Paul Lee, 47, of 194 Ash St., was arrested by officer Higgins. Lee was charged with two counts of child endangerment along with third offense drunken-driving and marked lanes violation.

According to a report on wcvb.com, Lee said he only had one beer before getting behind the wheel.

"[In her report] Higgins wrote she pulled the car over after it repeatedly crossed the yellow line. When she spoke to the driver, Lee, she could smell liquor, and he appeared to be having trouble finding his driver's license," WCVB says.
