Water Main Flushing Aug. 22

On Wednesday, August 22d, at approximately 10 PM, crews will be flushing portions of the newly installed water main on Front Street. This flushing is necessary in order to ready the mains for active service to bring the new Alprilla Farm wells on line to the water system. The flushing will be done in sections over the next few weeks and we will provide notification for those future dates and times once they are scheduled.

This work is being done at night to try and minimize any disruption and discoloration of the water to customers. Please note that you should avoid using your water until after the flushing is complete to allow the water to settle, should any discoloration occur. We estimate the flushing to take approximately one hour to complete.
