Area RIT Student Named to National Invitational Rowing Championships All-Academic Team
Connor Murdock of Hopkinton of the RIT men's crew team received the appointment on Thursday, May 19.

Connor Murdock of the RIT men's crew team was named to the 2016 National Invitational Rowing Championships All-Academic Team on Thursday, May 19. For a student-athlete to be recognized to the NIRC All-Academic Team, they must have completed one full-year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.35 and be recognized as a varsity letter winner.
Rochester Institute of Technology offers 24 intercollegiate varsity sports, including 22 at the Division III level and Division I men's and women's ice hockey. For three decades, U.S. News & World Report has ranked RIT among the nation's leading comprehensive universities. RIT's student-athletes are no exception, combining to post a 3.26 grade-point average during the 2014-15 academic year.
