Written by Liz TaurasiMassachusetts Department of Public Health officials have confirmed two cases of measles were diagnosed last month at two area hospitals: Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and MetroWest Hospital in Framingham.Any one showing symptoms and who visited either hospital at the following locations and dates should contact their healthcare provider.<ul></ul>MetroWest Hospital Framingham - Emergency Department or Inpatient Services on August 23 or 24,Massachusetts General Hospital Boston - Medical walk-in clinic on August 17 or 19, Emergency Department on August 20, or Inpatient Services on August 20, 21, 22 or 23 According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/measles/about/signs-symptoms.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">measles' symptoms </a>generally begin seven to 14 days after someone is infected and can include: blotchy rash, fever, cough, runny nose, red, watery eyes (conjunctivitis), feeling run down and achy, and tiny white spots with bluish-white centers found inside the mouth (Koplik's spots).
