Stocks are worth two cents less per share than projected.

In a third quarter earnings call this week, EMC Chairman Joe Tucci announced that the company had not met their expectations for the most recent quarter.

According to Mass High Tech , EMC reported an adjusted net income of $0.40 per share.

"During its third quarter earnings call, EMC Chairman and CEO Joe Tucci said while the company is 'disappointed' that it didn’t meet internal expectations for the quarter that ended Sept. 30, 2012, but the company believes that with the uncertainty in the market and negative impact on IT spending, it still 'more than held our own,'" Mass High Tech wrote.
