On Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 pm, there will be a meeting at the Hopkinton Historical Society Building,168 Hayden Rowe, to begin planning for a quilt to commemorate Hopkinton’s 300 th Anniversary. ASteering Committee will be formed to facilitate the design, creation, and installation of the quilt.After the 300th Anniversary celebrations conclude, the quilt will be donated to the town and hung onpermanent display in the Historical Society Building.
All interested members of the community are encouraged to attend and contribute suggestionsfor themes, events, locations of historical significance to the first 300 years of Hopkinton’shistory.
