Fire crews responded to emergencies caused by a rare October snowstorm.

Friday, October 28

8:40 p.m.: Medical - The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on High Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

8:42 p.m.: Medical - The backup ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to another medical emergency elsewhere on High Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

5:22 a.m.: Medical - The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Concord Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

5:20 p.m.: Medical - The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Central Street. Two residents were transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 

6:52 p.m.: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officers Captain John Murphy and Lieutenant Sean Irr investigated a report of wires arcing on Westfield Drive. 

7:03 p.m.: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officers Captain John Murphy and Lieutenant Sean Irr investigated a report of wires arcing on Birchwood Road.

7:25 p.m.: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officer Lieutenant Sean Irr investigated a blown transformer on Mary Chris Road.

8:34 p.m.: Medical - The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street. The individual refused transport and a signed refusal was obtained.

9:01 p.m.: Motor Vehicle Crash – Deputy Chief EMS Supervisor Jim Moore and the ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Hollis Street. One person was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 

9:56 p.m.: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officers Captain John Murphy and Lieutenant Sean Irr investigated a report of arcing wires on Mellen Street.

12:20 p.m.: Medical - The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Burnap Road. A resident was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital.

12:53 p.m.: Medical - The backup ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street. The individual refused transport and a signed refusal was obtained.

1:12 p.m.: Medical - The backup ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Indian Ridge Road South. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

4:45 p.m.: Investigation - Chief Michael Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Kuniholm Drive . 

6:14 p.m.: Motor Vehicle Crash - The ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. Two individuals were transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
