Holliston PD Asking For Residents' Footage To Catch Suspect

More car break-ins were reported in the MetroWest and Holliston police are asking for the public's help.

HOLLISTON, MA — It's been the summer of car break-ins in the MetroWest and Holliston police announced another on Monday.

The Holliston Police Department is asking for the public's help regarding the latest string of car break-ins in town. Police are asking residents in the Willowgate Rise and Dalton Road neighborhoods with surveillance cameras to review the footage from Aug. 19 between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Any images of unknown cars are people could help police in their investigation into larcenies from cars in the area. Residents can submit their video and information to the department through this form.

Another string of car break-ins was reported in Wellesley on Sunday. Last week, in the span of 24 hours, police departments in Sudbury and Concord warned residents about a rise in crimes related to vehicles — including car thefts, car prowls, and at least one dangerous pursuit.

Police in departments throughout the MetroWest have reminded residents to lock their cars before heading inside and to take any and all valuables inside with them.
