Holliston Police Log: Assault on Police Officer
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Sept. 7
7:49 a.m.: A caller from Central Street reported that political signs had been taken from their lawn.
1:01 p.m.: A person walked in to the station to report that her vehicle was struck overnight.

1:48 p.m.: A detail officer on Roy Avenue reported a loose dog. The officer was able to get the information of the dog’s tags but its owner wasn’t home at the time.
3:56 p.m.: A caller reported that the cap had been taken off a hydrant on Underwood Street. The and were notified.

5:57 p.m.: A caller reported a solicitor in the Hanlon Road area. An officer responded but was unable to find a vehicle. Twenty minutes later the solicitor was found in the area and advised.
6:51 p.m.: A caller from the reported a group of about six individuals passing around a plastic bag. An officer responded and noted that the group was attending the football game.
7:09 p.m.: An officer spoke to the same group from the previous incident and advised them to leave the area.
7:25 p.m.: A caller from Marked Tree Road reported a pair of solicitors in the area. An officer was unable to locate them.
7:30 p.m.: A caller from Chamberlain Street reported a woman soliciting for “Urban National”. An officer responded and advised the solicitor.
7:54 p.m.: A female solicitor was advised.
8:16 p.m.: A caller from Chamberlain Street reported that their dog Jasper had escaped when their electric fence malfunctioned.
9:01 p.m.: A caller from Prentice Street reported seeing a female walking in the area. An officer checked but was unable to locate the woman.
10:05 p.m.: A resident walked in to the station to report a past instance of assault and battery. Officers responded and arrested Jessica M. Gonzalez, 20, of 24 Pine St., Framingham Gonzalez was charged with assault and battery.
Saturday, Sept. 8
1:26 a.m.: An officer assisted a resident of Hill Street home after the person reported having difficulty seeing at night.
1:32 a.m.: Robert Haskins, 58, of 22 Hill St., Medway was arrested on Washington Street. Haskins was charged with drunken-driving and an equipment violation.
5:02 a.m.: An officer secured the front doors of the
2:56 p.m.: A caller reported low flying military jets near Fiske Street. This was an approved military flyover.
6:42 p.m.: All units responded to a domestic dispute on Regal Street. Officers mediated the situation which was just verbal.
7:39 p.m.: A caller reported that her daughter had gone for a walk but not returned. An officer found the girl and transported her home.
Sunday, Sept. 9
12:18 p.m.: An officer from Sherborn notified the that a vehicle traveling on route 16 was being operated erratically. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Suekaina P. Finis, 24, of 1865 Washington St. Finis was charged with drunken-driving, malicious destruction of property, four counts of assault and battery on a police officer, operating to endanger and a marked lanes violation.
6:06 a.m.: An officer checked the where two vehicles were found in the parking lot and the barn doors were not locked. The officer checked the building.
6:11 a.m.: The doors and windows of had been left open during mass preparations.
6:19 a.m.: A caller from Dunster Road reported a fare at their house. An officer responded with the Holliston Fire Department.
2:00 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street and issued the operator a summons for a crosswalk violation and unlicensed operation. The officer waited with the vehicle until a licensed operator arrived.
Monday, Sept. 10
1:09 a.m.: An officer reported a vehicle blocking the sidewalk on Washington Street. The vehicle was removed.
6:20 p.m.: A resident of Underwood Street reported that their neighbor’s dog was barking and had woken him up.
7:18 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a car vs. deer crash. Officers were unable to locate the deer.
5:03 p.m.: A caller from High Street reported a door to door solicitor. An officer responded and noted that the solicitor had a permit.
11:59 p.m.: A caller from Richard Road reported that a vehicle on the street was beeping. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
