Holliston Police Log: Disturbance at the VFW, Warrant Arrest

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

Continuing: Throughout the morning officers from the Holliston Police Department conducted traffic enforcement on both Winter Street and South Street. Several speeding citations were given out.

6:13 a.m.:  The Middlesex Sherriff's Department attempted a warrant arrest on Turner Road. The information was logged at the police station.

11:02 a.m.: An officer checked on a suspicious motor vehicle on Gorwin Drive with the trunk open. The vehicle belonged to a house cleaner.

11:53 a.m.: An officer responded to a crash on Prentice Street. One vehicle was towed.

3:30 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Central and Norfolk streets. Officers responded and brought one operator back to the station so they could make transportation arrangements.

7:05 p.m.: An officer assisted with a custody exchange on Summer Street. The exchange occurred without incident.

9:55 p.m.: A customer at the VFW reported a disturbance between the bar manager and a patron. The verbal confrontation involved two female customers. The females left the area in a white Honda CRV and were later stopped in Sherborn where one person was arrested.

 11:45 p.m.: Officers assisted the Framingham Police Department with a warrant arrest of Antonio Brandao, 24, of 41 Lindsay St., Framingham. Brandao was arrested on Kathryn Lane. Officers continued to assist the Framingham Police Department with their investigation in the area.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

Continuing: An officer patrolled the downtown area including Concord, Woodland, Church and Washington streets. Several violations were given out for speeding along with several equipment violation warnings.

7:04 a.m.: A caller reported that landscaping trucks were making illegal turns on to Washington Street from Jeffery Avenue. An officer spoke with the business owner who said they would attempt to reroute the trucks.

10:37 a.m.: An officer responded to a crash near the Temple Beth Torah involving multiple vehicles.

1:34 p.m.: After a call from the Milford Police Department, an officer checked Washington Street for an erratic vehicle. The vehicle in question was not located.

4:21 p.m.: An officer assisted a resident regarding a crosswalk complaint on Church Street.

5:57 p.m.: A resident of Woods Crossing reported a tree stand on his property. The resident said he had removed the stand eight months ago and posted no-trespassing signs in the area. The person was advised to contact police if he saw the tree stand owner in the area.

7:09 p.m.: A resident reported two large rocks thrown at her vehicle as she passed Cutler Heights. An officer checked the area.
