Holliston Police Log: Three Arrests, Distracting Air Horn

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Thursday, Aug. 9

12:09 a.m.: A caller from Chamberlain Street reported that his ex-girlfriend was attempting to take the air conditioner out of the window. The female was gone when an officer arrived.

4:41 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious activity at the Holliston Housing Authority. An officer spoke to several people and advised them to move inside.

3:42 p.m.: A caller reported youths blowing an air horn at passing cars on High Street. An officer spoke to the youths and confiscated the air horn.

4:09 p.m.: A person walked in to the station to report that their vehicle had been struck by another vehicle at some point overnight.

7:30 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic incident on Mechanic Street.

Friday, Aug. 10

2:18 a.m.: An officer stopped a car on Washington Street and gave the operator a verbal warning for defective equipment.

9:12 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hollis Street and issued the driver a summons for operating with a suspended license, operating without an inspection sticker and operating an uninsured vehicle.

11:12 a.m.: An officer assisted a resident of Regal Street with retrieving a loose dog.

4:25 p.m.: Officers investigated a crash on Norfolk Street.

6:41 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic pickup truck on Washington Street near the Post Office. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle but notified Milford PD to keep an eye out.

6:54 p.m.: The director of the  reported a water leak in the hallway. Officers assed the leak and checked on it periodically over the weekend until maintenance was able to fix it.

7:21 p.m.: Officers arrested Craig Mckay, 29, of 208 Jerrold St., at his home on warrant charges from Somerville. Mckay was charged with violating a restraining order and was not granted bail at 

11:53 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious white SUV lurking in the Indian Ridge Road neighborhood. The vehicle left the area when officers arrived.

Saturday, Aug. 11

1:24 p.m.: An officer attempted to locate a disabled motor vehicle on Regency Drive but was unable to.

2:02 p.m.: Two 11-year-olds reported finding trash and possible drug paraphernalia in the woods off Hollis Street. An officer responded to check the area.

2:02 p.m.: A caller from Fairlane Way complained about skateboarders being loud. The skateboarders were advised to keep it down.

3:45 p.m.: Officers checked the Winthrop Street area after Medway Police reported an erratic motor vehicle heading in that direction. The officer found the vehicle in question parked at the owner’s home and spoke to the owner.

5:32 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a disabled minivan on Pincecrest Road. The operator was changing a flat tire.

8:50 p.m.: A group of teenagers was asked to leave the area of

9:24 p.m.: Officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Prentice and Highland streets. Two vehicles were involved no injuries were reported.

10:187 p.m.: Officers checked Washington Street after a caller reported being tailgated and passed by a vehicle near the Highland Street intersection.

11:23 p.m.: Multiple callers reported fireworks in the Pleasant Street area. Officers responded and spoke to the residents.

Sunday, Aug. 12

12:53 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Highland Street and arrested Michael Williams, 64, of 105 America Blvd., Ashland. Williams was charged with drunken-driving and marked lanes violation; his vehicle was also towed.

1:05 a.m.: A caller from Green Street reported a suspicious knock on his door and suggested that there might be people in the park. Officers responded and found an egg on the caller’s front step, they were unable to find anything else in the area.

7:45 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street and arrested Brandi Laskowsky, 20, of 17 Holliston St., Medway. Laskowsky was charged with operating with a suspended license, speeding, failure to wear a seatbelt and operating with no inspection.

9:09 a.m.: A caller from Washington Street reported that someone had driven a four-wheeler on to his property and caused minor damage.

12:59 p.m.: A caller reported that a dog had been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and Marked Tree Road. The dog was last scene heading toward the downtown area.

5:15 p.m.: AAA reported a disabled vehicle blocking traffic on Summer Street. An officer stood by until the vehicle was towed.

8:31 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of fireworks on Travis Road. When they arrived the area was quiet.

9:16 p.m.: A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle on Prentice Street. The vehicle had run out of gas, an officer gave the operator a ride to the gas station to purchase some.

10:19 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Highland Street and issued a summons for operating without a license.
