Holliston Police Log: Turtle Saved, Break-ins

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Monday, Aug. 27

12:48 p.m.: A caller reported that the attic light was on in . An officer checked to make sure the building was locked.

2:24 p.m.: A caller complained about recent property damage caused by a neighbor. An officer responded and mediated the situation.

2:51 p.m.: A caller reported finding license plates in the parking lot on Summer Street. After checking RMV records officers determined that the plates came off a stolen car belonging to a Framingham resident.

5:19 p.m.: A caller from Concord Street reported that her son’s car had been vandalized on Saturday.

6:07 p.m.: A caller reported receiving a call from a company in Florida saying they were with the Social Security Office. The resident gave the caller the bank information they wanted but then decided it was suspicious and called her bank and the police to notify them.

10:43 p.m.: A group of youths was advised to leave the .

Tuesday, Aug. 28

3:22 a.m.: A caller reported a small dog was loose on South Street.

1:15 p.m.: A caller reported two youths in a vehicle on Church Street. An officer responded and noted that they were with adults.

2:15 p.m.: An officer conducted traffic enforcement in the school zone on Woodland Street as school got out.

3:11 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Street reported a past breaking and entering.

7:12 p.m.: An officer moved a turtle out of the roadway on Woodland Street.

8:49 p.m.: A Fiske Pond Road resident requested extra checks of the area after repeatedly seeing vehicles parked in the area.

9:38 p.m.: A caller from South Street reported a past break-in. The caller said items had been moved around but was unsure if anything had been stolen.
