Holliston Police Log: Turtles, Donkeys and Horses Oh Boy!
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Oct. 5
9:41 a.m.: Two people were given summons for entering a dwelling at night for felony and larceny over $250. The incident is in relation to a theft reported on Shaw Farm Road that took place on Oct. 1.
11:56 a.m.: A resident reported that his social security number had been used by people outside the country. He was advised to contact the proper agencies.

1:52 p.m.: A caller reported a loose horse on Concord Street. The horse’s owner said the horse wasn’t loose; it was just in a pasture. The horse was taken in for the day.
10:27 p.m.: Officers from the Holliston Police Department responded to a report of a youth on the roof of the High School.

10:39 p.m.: An officer checked on two loose donkeys on Hollis Street. The owners were notified and responded to catch the donkeys.
Saturday, Oct. 6
6:08 a.m.: An officer responded to a motor vehicle that had struck a deer on Highland Street. There was moderate damage to the vehicle. The deer ran in to the woods and did not need to be euthanized.
9:16 a.m.: An officer reported a crash on Summer Street.
1:38 p.m.: A resident reported a crash that had occurred on Oct. 3.
Sunday, Oct. 7
11:28 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a large turtle in the roadway near Holliston Town Hall.
11:50 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a struck deer near Arcadian Farms. The deer was gone upon the officers arrival.
4:12 p.m.: an officer advised a person at CVS about an open container violation.
6:12 p.m.: An officer spoke to a motorist at Dunkin’ Donuts after a caller reported they were all over the road. The motorist said they were overtired.
7:30 p.m.: A caller from Concord Street reported children playing in the area with flashlights. The area was quiet when an officer responded.
7:51 p.m.: A motorist reported striking a telephone pole in front of Middlesex Savings Bank. Minor damage was observed on the vehicle and the pole.
8:26 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of youths that had rang a doorbell and the left the area on Stonybrook Drive. The area was quiet.
Monday, Oct. 8
12:35 p.m.: An officer performed traffic enforcement on Washington Street at Green Street. No vehicles were stopped but the officer observed 10 jaywalkers.
5:24 p.m.: Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Central Street and Norfolk Street. No injuries were reported.
5:46 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle with an expired registration.
